Everyone knows that Salvador Allende and Fidel Castro knew each other, hung out, spoke, considered one another to be friends, etc. No one debates this. But what never stops being funny is how you go to Socialist or Communist websites and find pictures like this one paraded around like it shows what a great guy Allende was. Then you go to pro-Pinochet websites and they talk about how he saved democracy, and as proof look at this picture of the then “president” of Chile hanging out with this evil dictator.
